Riverside guitarist Piotr Grudziński passes away at 40

Shocking and incredibly sad news from the Riverside camp as they announce that guitarist Piotr Grudziński passed away this morning. The cause of death is currently unknown. He was just 40 years old. Piotr attended a show last evening in Poland by The Winery Dogs and was by all accounts fine.

I’ll be playing 2 hours of Riverside’s music this week on my radio show as a tribute. For details, please check out the event on Facebook. This is a horrible loss to his friends and family. My sincere condolences.

    Tha fact that no one is revealing a medical reason for his death
    And the fact that he was at a concert can only lead to one possible reasonable option!!
    Drug overdose !!!

      Let’s not jump to conclusions. It could be a few things. Drugs and alcohol are always a possible issue but an unknown heart condition is also very much a possibility. Brain aneurysms are also deadly. When I find out, I will pass it along.
