Prog legend John Wetton dies at 67

I am incredibly sad about this one. John Wetton died in his sleep at the age of 67 after a valiant battle with colon cancer. GET CHECKED, FOLKS! John Wetton meant a LOT to me. This is not to say that all of the other great artists didn’t. He was just extra special.

So once again, I am doing a radio tribute show to a fallen great. It feels like it’s a regular thing and how I wish it would just stop. You are all invited to join me for two hours of his music.

The very 1st KC album I ever heard was Larks Tongues in Aspic from ’73 and it was John Wetton’s voice I heard first. I was told by the guy who sold me the album to start with that record as everyone else and their brother started with the first record and not to follow the herd. He was right, I played that album at least 4 times that day! Blew my mind and to this day that album still does! Sad he’s gone as is Greg Lake. Play on Sir Wetton.
