Ben had this to say:
Bruce is going to be co-producing my debut album…and I am so very happy that he agreed to do it.
We’re currently sharing demo sessions I’ve done for 6-8 songs, with view to working on them together to complete the final, what I hope will be, 10-12 fully rocking, proggery-filled songs, based of my inner turmoils!
HURRAH!If you’ve been hiding in the real world, away from the glory that is progressive music (yuk yuk); then you won’t know that Bruce is a renowned mixing and mastering engineer, as well as frontman for one of the most loved ‘prog’ bands ever to venture forth with timing signaures.
His stereo and 5.1 surround mixes of bands like Katatonia, Tesseract, Opeth and more, were what I really wanted to speak to Bruce about…because, let’s face it, if I’m going to do an album; I want to be able to play it in 5.1, whilst drunk, to all my friends!
More news, videos and photos of the recording process to come!
