Jack Arthurs signs to Bad Elephant Music and announces new album

unnamed(1)Bad Elephant Music is delighted to announce that renowned singer/songwriter Jack Arthurs has joined its ever increasing roster of artists.

Jack is a musician and songwriter based in Newcastle, a popular presence on the North East music scene. His debut solo album ‘Only Dreams are True’ – described by Music Street Journal as a “wonderfully sweet and tender collection of songs by a talented and insightful artist” – was released to critical acclaim in 2012. The follow up, entitled ‘Treasure House’, will be released through BEM in early 2016.

Jack Arthurs: “I’m over the moon about this news! I really look forward to working with everyone at Bad Elephant. My new solo acoustic album is called ‘Treasure House’. I’m very excited about these tunes. I’d like to thank David Elliott and his team for giving me the opportunity to make this album. Thanks to all of you out there for your support too. More music is on the way!”

Bad Elephant Music CEO, David Elliott: “I’m really happy to welcome Jack to the BEM family. His approach and delivery take me back to my youth, following the acoustic scene in the North East. Jack demonstrates just what one man and his guitar can do, and we’re looking forward to releasing his new album next year. I’ve heard he likes a curry too, which always helps….. ”

Jack will be performing three live dates in July which will be the first chance to hear material from the new album before he heads into the studio. Full gig details and more information at Jack’s website.
